Son clo\u00eetre richement sculpt\u00e9 \u2013 l\u2019une des merveilles du monde au Moyen-\u00c2ge \u2013 s\u2019est retrouv\u00e9 successivement : profan\u00e9 (Guerres de Religion), abandonn\u00e9 et vendu (R\u00e9volution), \u00e9parpill\u00e9 (dans des cabinets de curiosit\u00e9s), enfin rachet\u00e9 et \u00ab\u00a0remont\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re am\u00e9ricaine, au Mus\u00e9e des Clo\u00eetres, \u00e0 New-York, en 1911. Aujourd\u2019hui, en France, des arch\u00e9ologues et architectes num\u00e9riques tentent de reconstituer en 3D le Clo\u00eetre disparu, en remettant \u00e0 leur place initiale les \u00e9l\u00e9ments sculpt\u00e9s.
