MIA journal publishes every six month two volumes dedicated to a research theme
identified by its programme committee.
Several
types of contributions are welcomed :
- original research papers
- contributions presenting a state of the art on a given research question
- experiment reports
Papers, which should be of a length of up to 12 pages,
can be written either in french or in english,
and are submitted to an interdisciplinary evaluation.
- reports about online demos (the demos will be submitted to an evaluation)
Besides, the MIA journal will publish on a yearly basis a special issue dedicated to
selected student researches (Master or PhD level).

- Open source, freeware and standards;
- Information systems;
- 2D/3D interfaces;
- Spatial data acquisition and surveying techniques;
- 2D/3D geometric modelling;
