Web information system at architectural scale

NUBES VISUM consists of a web-based application with a tripartite architecture.  From a technical perspective, this system aims to respond to three distinct requirements.

Storage of heterogeneous data.  A MySQL database is used to organise the raw survey data, the various representations and associated information, according to different user profiles.

Real-time manipulation of 3D geometric representations.  A 3D interactive scene developed with Virtools DEV is used for downloading, displaying and manipulating 3D representations.

On-line access and data management.  The application is based on a website offering user access to the data stored in the database and providing the links required for interaction between the 3D scene and the database.
